Terms and conditions
Last updated: October 15, 2026
This English version is provided for convenience. If there is any difference, the Spanish version prevails.
These terms govern the use of Acteva, a platform for recording and following up on the operation of physical assets. By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms.
1. Who we are
Acteva (“Acteva”, “we”) is a project based in Mexico City, Mexico, that provides the service described in this document.
2. The service
Acteva lets companies record their equipment, reports, breakdowns, work orders, maintenance, meter readings and evidence, and get alerts about situations that need attention. Some features use artificial intelligence to suggest records based on what a person writes.
Acteva is in its pilot stage. The service may change, expand or be interrupted, and it is provided as is, with no guarantee of continuous availability.
3. Accounts
- To use Acteva you need an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for any activity under your account.
- Whoever creates a company in Acteva is its owner. The owner and admins can invite people, change their role and remove their access, and are responsible for making sure only authorized people have access.
- You must be of legal age and authorized to act on behalf of the company you register.
4. Your information
The information you record about your company, your equipment and your operations belongs to you. You authorize us to store and process it only to provide you with the service, as described in the Privacy notice. We do not sell your information.
You are responsible for making sure the information you record is lawful and that you have the necessary authorizations, especially when it includes other people’s data, such as names, phone numbers, signatures or photos.
5. AI suggestions
The suggestions Acteva generates (for example, opening a work order or logging a reading) may contain errors. None of them is saved until a person confirms it. Technical, safety and operational decisions about the equipment remain the responsibility of your company and its staff.
6. Sign-off signatures
When a work order is finished, the person receiving the work can sign on the screen. The signature is stored with their name, the date and time, and an integrity fingerprint (SHA-256) of what was signed; once signed, the order can no longer be changed. The parties recognize this signature as an electronic signature acknowledging receipt of the service, under the Mexican Commercial Code and, where applicable, the U.S. ESIGN Act and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use Acteva for unlawful activities, to try to access other companies’ information, to interfere with the service, or to upload malicious content or content that infringes third-party rights.
8. Intellectual property
Acteva’s software, design, brand and content belong to Acteva or its licensors. These terms do not grant you any rights over them, other than to use the service as described here.
9. Suspension and closing your account
You can stop using Acteva at any time. Before you do, the owner or an admin can download all of the company’s data from the app, and anyone can ask for their account to be deleted; the owner can also ask for the company to be deleted. We may suspend or cancel access to an account that breaches these terms or puts the service or other users at risk.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Acteva is not liable for indirect damages, lost revenue or lost information arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service, nor for decisions made based on the recorded information.
11. Pricing
During the pilot stage you can use Acteva at no cost. If paid plans are introduced in the future, we will announce them in advance and nothing will be charged without your express acceptance.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will publish the current version on this page with its update date and, if the changes are significant, we will let you know by email or in the app.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the federal laws of the United Mexican States. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Mexico City, waiving any other jurisdiction that may apply.
